We went back to her house and began cooking and making margaritas. Our group consisted of one non-cook, to a few novice cooks, to a trained professional chef of 35 plus years. We all learned, laughed, and enjoyed the entire experience. I would highly recommend this activity, if you like to eat delicious food from the Yucatán.”

“Tania did a great job at introducing us to local produce and cuisine. She was a great host, cooked excellent food, and made the cooking process approachable. During the market walk, she consulted us as she picked different fruits and veggies. Some of the fruit was foreign to us and we really enjoyed the tasting. Back in the kitchen, we helped Tania prep as she proceeded to prepare different sauces, guacamole, pico de gallo, a local squash with cheese, and chorizo refried beans. And then she prepared the grouper in a tomato, onion, caper, and olive sauce. In between all this, she also made a citrus and tequila drink served…”
