Intro scuba at Cozumel’s Chankanaab Park: small groups, reef life, caves, and underwater sculptures, plus beach time and a drink.

“This was mine and my husband's first time scuba diving, and it was so much fun!! Daniel was a great guide and was very patient and understanding. Another guy came down and took photos of us during the dive which was nice. The only bummer was not seeing any sea turtles, but no one can control nature. We did see lots of cool fish, some lobsters and even got to hold a starfish and a large shell with a crab in it! It was also great that we got to stay on the beach afterwards and they offered complimentary snorkeling gear, which we took advantage of to see more sea…”

Chankanaab Park admission and snorkeling in Cozumel. Snorkel gear, guide, and beach loungers included for a 3-hour trip.

“The Park is really good. Highlights: - Sea Lion show - Swimming pool like inlet, where kids and others who are not good in Swimming can enjoy - Beautiful botanical garden - Beautiful environment Cons: The ticket pricing is little dubious, separate marine Park entrance - $5 and it doesn't spell out $5 for the whole party/package or $5 per person each in the party, the Park demands $5 per each person. In my view they should include everything in the package.”

“Well, after the disappointment in Costa Maya with the beach club (not through GYG), I would have loved to cancel here for the next day. Luckily I didn't! A fantastically beautiful beach with great water and very empty. Whether it was because of the size or because there were "only" three large ships in the harbor, I don't know. It was great - white sandy beach with a stone wall to the water - entry via stairs - no duck pond! But with waves - plenty of great loungers with umbrellas and/or palm shade - everything included - the food was good but reasonable - free locker nearby - good…”
